Sway along to a soundtrack provided by some of the best bands and entertainment in the Bay, while you taste endless coffee at the iconic Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture’s Festival Pavilion. Micaya Presents the 28th Annual San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest (SFIHHDF), a groundbreaking presentation of hip hop dance culture from around the globe. SFIHHDF was the first festival in the world to present hip hop dance on a proscenium stage in a non-competitive setting—elevating the art form while honoring its legacy.
Each year, SFIHHDF brings together electrifying performances by internationally acclaimed dance companies. Expect jaw-dropping choreography, masterful technique, powerful storytelling, and a wide range of hip hop styles including breaking, popping, locking, waacking, krump, house, and more.

ILLUMINATE SF™ shines a light on San Francisco's ever-expanding light art scene and celebrates the city's culture of creativity and innovation. The initiative is presented by the San Francisco Travel Association in collaboration with local civic and cultural partners, and showcases the city's public light art installations, most of which are accessible by public transportation and free to view.
From the day after Thanksgiving until the end of January, dozens of site-specific artworks by acclaimed creators from all over the world will be on display across San Francisco's many neighborhoods. Some are permanent fixtures that have become familiar icons of the city. Others are fleeting, one-time-only creations that dazzle visitors with their complexity. Best of all, most of these artworks are free to experience.

The Marin Arts & Crafts Show brings together artists, artisans, designers, woodworkers, jewelers, textile artists, ceramists, and other makers whose work reflects a dedication to craftsmanship.
The show celebrates handcraft of design: luminous color, careful detail, natural materials, traditional technique, and contemporary imagination.
Visitors can shop for beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind objects and meet the artists and makers who create them.

Once a year, ICB artists open their studios for a weekend visitors plan around and return to year after year. Many of the artists you’ll meet here exhibit nationally and internationally, with work in galleries, museums, and collections around the world.

The 26th annual Halloween Hoopla is back with family-friendly frights and delights for kids under 10 and their adults! This year’s festivities are sure to amaze with awe-inspiring performers from Circus Bella accompanied by live music from the Circus Bella All-Star Trio. The Hoopla Grand Finale is the popular Halloween Costume Parade. Pirates, ghosts, goblins and more – all kids are welcome to join in with their frightful or playful Halloween looks.

The festival has an impressive track record of launching new films and new filmmakers, and has earned a reputation as a filmmakers’ festival by celebrating the best in American independent and foreign films, along side high-profile and prestigious award contenders. Each year the festival welcomes more than 200 filmmakers, representing more than 50 countries. Screening sections include World Cinema; US Cinema; Docs; Family Films; Shorts; and Active Cinema, MVFF’s activist films initiative.
